About us

The Children’s Burns Foundation is a registered charity,
established to help young people and their families
affected by burn injuries, who have been treated under
the care of the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
It aims to do this by:

Supporting recovery - We provide funding for innovative clinical research
into the cause, management and improvement of post-burn problems in
young people.

Supporting healing - We encourage programmes specifically targeted
at improving psychological well-being, social relationships, independence
and daily activities following a burn injury.

Supporting training - We help individuals, groups and organisations
involved in the care of burn-injured children, including attending relevant
professional meetings and conferences.
