Clare Whitelam

Clare is a qualified actuary and has spent much of her working life giving advice to pension scheme Trustees both on the variables that can affect the long term cost of the pension scheme and training new Trustees on their role and responsibilities. She is also a volunteer adviser for the Pensions Advisory Service, an independent non-profit organization.

Clare became a Trustee and Treasurer for the Children’s Burns Foundation in January 2009. She is married with two teenage children. Her spare time is taken up with exercising her horse and dog and trying to keep up with her husband’s fell-walking.
