Sarah Chadwick

I’m a doctor working in burns and plastic surgery and have worked in Manchester for the past 9 years. During that time, I have volunteered for the Manchester Children’s Burns Camps on several occasions and attended the residential weeks in the Lake District. I have also undertaken research at the University of Manchester into skin pigmentation and scarring and investigated the effects of skin colour and the depth of skin injury on the resulting scars. It has been my privilege to work with the CBF and an honour to meet the inspirational young people they support.
